WWII fortifications at the fancy side of Athens

The easiness of accidentally finding relics from WWII around Athens even more than 80 years later never ceases to impress me, despite the fact that it's the area I was born and spent almost all my life so far. Today's find happened to be at one of the most expensive suburbs of Athens and feel free to blame for this a guitar shop that was closed despite its working hours 🙂

Unfortunately the day was too cloudy and windy for decent videos and pictures which is a pity considering how nice this location is:

Gotta admit I expected them to be in worse condition than this:

In case that looked bad to you I can assure you it's in better shape than the average WWII fortifications I have seen around. Unfortunately I can't find more info about this specific one but most importantly let's all hope we won't have to use them again ever. Ask Ukrainians in case you doubt.

Time to go:

See you in a next URBEX.
