Lukovo Sugarje...

This is where I stayed for the 3 last nights. A tiny village by the sea consisting of just a few houses:

And...YES the above spot was my first swimming in the sea outside mother Hellas. Great crystal clear water, cold but...who cares...not me at least since I also swim in winter.

The whole area is a biker's

heaven. Fantastic route, perfect tarmac, low traffic (much worse in high season of course)...what more can you ask for?

Check out a close up on the asphalt:

Even butterflies love it!

...and insects in love :)

This is a piece of glass I picked from the beach reading "25"...my lucky number?

Needless to mention my great host who also kindly cooked for me this lovely chicken:

A great person - check her out here.

Split 2

Nice weather today, took a ride around Split to Sinj, Knin, Sibenik and then back to Split from the road that follows the coast. From Sinj to Knin you meet the lake Peruca which offers fantastic pictures. Check it out:

Entering Knin:

The road by the coast that goes back to Split is VERY scenic. Don't miss it if you have the chance:

Back to beautiful Split:

Split

The (non toll) road from Dubrovnik to Split is really nice following the coast almost all the time. I managed to take some videos though it was raining but it mostly felt like I'd like to have endless GB in my phone's SD card to capture it all. (I'll make a movie of my trip but only after I finish it so you have to wait ...)

Split's old part is quite nice and of course much better than the contemporary one. Dubrovnik is smaller and feels more relaxed so I liked it more I have to admit.

Rain didn't allow me to enjoy my walk but here's a few pictures:

Tito the great!

Dubrovnik 2

It's so pretty at night too:

Dubrovnik

Well ... there are times that your eyes are exposed to a place offering such an astonishing view that you feel like an idiot while taking pictures as...they can't capture the whole thing and they are never enough!

Yes ladies 'n gentlemen...Dubrovnik is one of them.

So...right now I have my bike downstairs resting,

and from inside my window looks like this,

which offers me this view:

I've been walking for hours mostly around the old part of the town and it felt like I should have a FHD video recording every single detail in order to come back partially satisfied.

Let's compromise with my humble cellphone :) :

Leaving Montenegro heading to Croatia

Just a few lines before the comfort of my saddle...

Montenegro was perfect...indeed...with the exceptions of the fucker who stole some stuff from my bike on first night (nothing of great value but enough to spoil the mood) and a stupid fall I had off my bike while trying to help some stupid car drivers (please don't ask how) up on the mountains close to Cetinje (why do I care about stupid car drivers? I have to fix that...) This last one broke the brake lever - on first chance I'll do something about it but fortunately bike is rideable anyway.

So...goodbye Tivat, Dubrovik here I come!

Gotta go riding now...

Kotor fortress

Full day hiking around Kotor and walking up all the way to the top of the fortress. Breath taking view, you need tons of cameras to capture the whole thing and then again (as usual) it's not enough - you have to go there to see for yourself!

P.S. Also don't miss the old part of this town ;)

Cetinje

Really lovely ride from Tivat to Cetinje and back via Budva - enjoy!

Kotor

Don't miss Kotor if you are around! I'd better let the photos do the talking:
