Winter walk in summer(ish) weather (part 4)

Had enough sea beauty from my previous parts or there's no thing like enough?

As I continue walking West I have to get back on tarmac as the coastal path led me to a dead end:

On the first chance I leave the tarmac and fortunately the first path looks promising:

It actually leads to a small bay that I haven't visited since donkeys years hence I'm more than happy to see it again after such a long time:

I follow the path further,

and it takes me to a better view point of the same bay:

There's no thing as "hidden gem" in a radius of many kms around Athens but this one is pretty close to name it as one so here's the location in case you ever wanna give it a try:

I keep walking through the bushes while admiring the shades of blue and green:

Soon the vegetation gets a little denser than I expected:

Only to get friendlier later:

Still not friendly enough for that girl who lost her shoe though:

Barefoot or not, you can always enjoy the view around here:

Ladies and gents, I am exactly 45 km away from the center of Athens and what a way to indicate that:

What you see above is one of the old milestones still standing. Yes, that's marble on a concrete base because that's how they did it back in the day! Keep in mind that this thing is way more than half a century old. The beach of Saronida in the background definitely deserves a more dedicated image:

This place means a lot to me as I've been swimming there since I was only a few months old. My parents rented a cottage there cause as a kid I had a minor medical issue and the sea would help me recover. Fun fact: They initially rented it for 15 days and we actually kept it for another 26 years! Crazy eh? Not so crazy as a decision now that you've seen how the area looks like though.

My collection of miniature churches gets wider as I meet this guy:

Humans enjoy themselves in a vastly wide range of ways. Planes draw lines in the sky,

while some local bikers draw lines on dirt trails:

I am more than happy to fill my eyes with blue for the moment:

I leave it up to you to comment or caption this DIY attempt for a swing:

You can also do the same for this street art(?) in the comments below:

More lines in the sky:

And one more miniature which also comes with a heartbreaking poem for the missing one:

Street art or territorial pissing?

Never a walking day without cats:

The next property is for sale. Great location but so neglected and surrounded by vegetation that this is the only viewing angle I could picture from it:

I am already making my way back walking East when some beauty appears in the background to confront the indifferent foreground:

Fancy those miniatures I posted before? I meet some more on my way (pity as each one refers to a person lost in an accident):

The next one is almost covered in soil due to the last rainstorm:

This next one had better faith as it was built on a column:

I think you might wanna watch a video at this point with clips I've recorded so far - be my guest in 4K:

There's still more to see so stay tuned for the next part ;)
