(continued from Episode 4)
It's a cloudy and almost rainy Saturday, early July feeling like early winter at my birthplace but better than a full rainy Sunday that follows so I rush to make my way to my Dutch friends before weather treats me in the least Mediterranean way possible. Sorry guys, no pics or vids but wasn't a super exciting ride so you don't miss much anyway.
So heartwarming to meet again with Johanneke and Andrea here South of Eindhoven. Lovely people, lovely house, what more can I ask for. I'll be taking care of their nest and animals while they'll be away on vacations so that's 4 chickens and a diabetic cat plus lots of greenery that depend on the care I'll give them.
Wanna have a look?
It's not my first time in this lovely town so I'm not gonna focus in it but you can check out my previous visits on my map (every pin with a walking/bike/plane symbol has a link with a post).
Johanneke writes down some recommendations about places to visit around and in a couple of days having everything in the house set while the weather allows drama free riding I set off.
Netherlands are flat and the highway unsurprisingly boring flooded with trucks:
Nice little town and the weather is not bad at all:
I continue West as I want to visit Reusel next. No highway, just crossing the cuties in between till I arrive at Reusel's most serene spot, Vijver Lovensbroek:
This tiny lake is as quiet and cute as it takes even though it is "downtown":
Here's a pano:
It's truly a fairy tale magazine cover material.
Turn up the volume to hear the birds singing:
As I finish the above video I see this cat smelling my bike:
Watch her as she meows me:
Through all this time I picture and record all this it's just perfect silence except the birds. What a heavenly place!
Time to make my way back. Here's my ride with my music on this video:
