Or Spring weather if you prefer. I thought it could just be me as a full Mediterranean being very picky about weather but when I told my friend here at Belgrade that her country offered me my worst May ever she said "well, that's my worst one too".
Today I woke up in fog with 100% relative humidity. You think I'm joking? It's all Greek to you but look at that:
Only a couple of hours later thing got much better and temperature rose by 15C. Yes, fifteen. 4 seasons in half a day. So, in the first rays of real sun I too the chance to capture some of the beauties of my AirBnB:
Lovely aren't they? Same goes for this shy one:
One of my pleasure hobbies is to make things better. This place has two (yes 2!) kitchens and the fridge of the outdoor one hasn't been defrosted for I don't know how long:
Most in my case would say "why you give a fuck? you pay for that thing - not your business". Sounds obvious at first glance but it's not quite. It happens that I have the time to fix it and my host seems to be a lovely person so why not make her happy? Plus if all guests were as efficient and care takers like me, she and other decent hosts would have the margin to offer their places cheaper.
With the help of the weather and most importantly my 2 hands I managed to make this iceberg history - here's the largest chunk I managed to take out:
Soon I made it clean as a whistle:
One a beautiful day like this lunch outdoors is a no brainer and there's no happy person with an unhappy (see empty) stomach. Slices of pork, fried potatoes and mushrooms, some grinded parmigiano and a bit of mustard with ketchup is keeping me happy for the moment:
Tomorrow I am doing Belgrade. Already excited to see the capital from the inside and confirm (or not) the difference between South and North Serbia that I already notice.
See you soon!
