A much needed one as I have just recovered from a (not too serious) health issue which interrupted my previous trip. Now I'm 265 km South West of Athens exploring the wonderful South West end of Peloponnese.
Here's my ride by the way:
After this heavy traffic and a nice ride for its second half I arrive at this sweet place where me and bike enjoy a peaceful rest:
It's a quiet nest full of bird's nests surrounded by olive trees:
This AirBnb misses a few things but can't complain much - I have half of this house at my disposal while there's no one around:
Besides, it's got a bath tub - no better way to erase those kms from your body:
Don't just blame my wet hands for that blurry shot, the visibility due to hot water was sauna like so the camera struggled a bit.
Spring is at full bloom at the moment around here but in a place like the one I am at the moment I wouldn't miss vegetation anytime around the year - bedroom view:
However, when I say Spring is at full bloom I mean it:
Also the driveway is in no shortage of Green and I'm glad that's the way I will start/finish all my excursions for the next days:
I'm solo as it gets, me myself and I, until a panther cat shows up out of the blue meowing at me intensely as if she was deserted by the owners:
I threw some food cause meowing sounded kinda hungry (not looking like starving though) but the cat completely ignored it. Instead, my lap attracted its interest and didn't hesitate to jump on me as you can see on this video:
What you can't see in that video is that this creature climbed on me with full claws out which penetrated my 2 layers of clothes all the way down to my poor skin. Ouch!
With this company as bonus I am intrigued to explore the area around during the next days.
Are you too? See you on the next part (2)
