I'm not a super fan of beers but I fancy a good one once per while. I consider Radler as the lamest a beer can be. That said, it's the thing that satisfies your thirst like nothing else and after such a walk I think I deserve one:
You know those t-shirts reading "No kangaroos in Austria"? True that, but they have this here at Graz:
Blame the local restaurant for this decoration.
As my tour around the hill of Schloßber ends I must wave goodbye one of its highlights, the tower of Uhrturm:
Why are you laughing? It's also slippery when wet.
Now that I am downtown again I take the time to consider what might be my next outfit.
If nothing else it allows much more ballroom than my jeans.
That tall thing you see is Mariensäule, one of Graz's points of reference:
Time to meet again with my good old friend, Mur river, which is escorting me the last days all the way from Knittelfeld up to Graz:
It transfers massive quantities of water but it's not noisy at all. Unless a tree falls on its bed like this one:
And wave it goodbye from Tegetthoffbrücke bridge later:
So this was my long walk around Graz, at least long enough to make me write those 4 parts. However, I still have more to see outside the city.
Stay tuned to see them too in the next episode!
